Herman "Mike" Worthey

Herman Michael 'Mike' Worthey, a proud veteran and dedicated pipeline worker, passed away peacefully on June 8, 2026, at 10:59 p.m. in Texarkana, Texas. Born on September 14, 1955, in Tennessee, Mike lived a life marked by service and hard work., leaving behind a legacy of love, family, and cherished memories.

He has gone home to be reunited with his beloved parents, Peggy and Frank Worthey, and his two sons, Shawn Michael Worthey and Charles Franklin Worthey, who preceded him in death.

Mike’s life was defined by the deep bonds he shared with those he loved. He leaves behind a family who will miss him dearly, including his daughter, Ashley Nichole Worthey, and his son, Michael Jacob Worthey.

He is also survived by his sister and brother-in-law, Susan and Tim Langloise, as well as his three adored granddaughters, Emma Jade Chavez, Alyssa Kaye Garrett, and Hallie Elizabeth Dale, who brought immense joy to his life.

Mike's memory will live on vividly in the hearts of his family, his many extended relatives, and a tight-knit circle of very close friends who became like family over the years.

"Those we love don't go away, they walk beside us every day. Unseen, unheard, but always near, so loved, so missed, so very dear."

Rest in peace, Mike. You are deeply loved and will never be forgotten.
