Jo-Ann (Zoglio) Piccirillo , born on November 2, 1946, in Providence, Rhode Island, passed away on May 24, 2024, at St. Michael Hospital in Texarkana, Texas.


Jo-Ann was known for her fiery red hair, infectious laugh, and her ability to light up any room she entered. She loved to cook, especially baking her famous Italian Ricotta cookies and preparing the Seven Fishes for Christmas. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Elvira (Maggiacomo) Zoglio , and her loving husband of 57 years, Ralph D. Piccirillo.


She is survived by her daughter, Paula Ann Piccirillo, of Texarkana, Texas, her grand dogs Rocko and Freddy, and her cherished cousin Donna Marro of North Providence, Rhode Island.


Jo-Ann's memory lives on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. Until we meet again.

I still cannot accept you’re gone. 2 years already. How I miss everything about you Mom. Your memorial will stay alive with me forever. I miss our routine every day of watching our shows having our coffee talking for hours and the love that you gave me and showed me every day. I will miss Joann. Despite her sickness she was always making sure that I was doing ok. She made me laugh at times and other times drove me crazy. Rest in peace my friend. Now you can enjoy your pasta and gravy.

I am so happy that I had the privilege of talking to Joann and sharing memories with her these last few months. I enjoyed sharing funny reels from FB that made her chuckle and brought back fond memories of the times that her and Ralf and my husband and myself spent together. I know how you suffered these past few years but tried to stay strong for Paula. Don’t worry my friend I will be here for Paula. Now you are safe in the arms of Jesus pain is gone forever.
