Nicole Phillips

Nicole Marie Phillips, 40, of New Boston, Texas, passed away on May 5, 2026. She was born on August 12, 1985, to Donna Simoneaux and Michael Simoneaux, in Charenton, Louisiana.

Nicole was a loving wife, devoted mother, daughter, sister, and friend. Her family was at the heart of her life, and she cherished the life she built with her husband, Vincent Phillips. The two were married in Wichita Falls, Texas, and together they were blessed with twin daughters, Mya Ann Phillips and Ava Nicole Phillips. Her girls were nothing short of a miracle to Nicole, and being their mother was one of the greatest joys and proudest accomplishments of her life.

Nicole was the kind of person who wore many hats, and somehow managed to make each one look flawless. She was fun-loving, kindhearted, and determined, with a personality that could make people smile and a will that was difficult to stop once she had her mind set on something. Nicole believed in herself, and when she decided she was going to accomplish something, there was usually little anyone could do to convince her otherwise. She had a remarkable ability to figure things out, take on challenges, and get the job done.

Nicole graduated from West St. Mary High School in Baldwin, Louisiana, and later earned her bachelor's degree from Ashford University, now known as Arizona University Global Campus. She built a career as a Project Manager with Red River Army Depot, bringing the same determination and work ethic to her professional life that she brought to everything else.

Nicole also proudly served her country in the United States Army, attaining the rank of Corporal, and worked in logistics and warehouse operations with the 588th Maintenance Unit. Her military service was an important part of her life and reflected her strength, dedication, and willingness to serve others.

Her love for her community was another meaningful part of Nicole's life. Through the New Boston Girls Youth Softball and Volleyball League, she was able to support young athletes and be part of a community that brought families together. Whether she was working, serving her country, supporting her family, or cheering on the next generation, Nicole had a way of showing up and giving her all.

Those who knew Nicole will remember far more than her accomplishments. They will remember her laughter, her determination, her kind heart, and the fun she brought into the lives of the people around her. They will remember a woman who loved her family fiercely, especially her daughters, and who never backed down from a challenge. Nicole lived with the belief that if she truly wanted to do something, she could find a way to make it happen.

Nicole leaves behind a lifetime of memories filled with love, laughter, strength, and plenty of stories that will undoubtedly be told again and again. Though her life was far too short, the love she gave and the people she touched will carry her memory forward.

Nicole is survived by her husband, Vincent Phillips; her beloved twin daughters, Mya Ann Phillips and Ava Nicole Phillips; her parents, Donna Simoneaux and Michael Simoneaux; her brother, Billy Galey; and extended family and friends who will miss her dearly.

A memorial service celebrating Nicole's life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, August 14, 2026, at Life House Church, 1102 Maywood Drive, Texarkana, Arkansas 71854. Pastor James Ross will officiate.
