James Wilson

James Michael "Mike" Wilson, age 74, of Texarkana, Texas, passed away peacefully on April 3, 2026, at 4:49 a.m. at Hospice of Texarkana. Born July 5, 1951, in New Boston, Texas, He was preceded in death by his parents James Harvey Wilson and Mildred Geraldine (Dalton) Wilson, his brother Dwight Wilson, his sisters, Becky and Marilyn.

A proud Navy veteran, Mike honorably served his country for six years, achieving the rank of E-5, hmFollowing his military service, he dedicated many years to vehicle sales, forging lasting relationships with colleagues and customers alike.

Mike will be deeply missed by his devoted wife Michelle Wilson, which was the love of his life. He leaves behind two daughters; Jada Murdy and Anna Wist, grandchildren; Makayla Murdy, Ellis Wist, and Lewis Wist. His life was marked by quiet strength, a steadfast character, and genuine care for those around him. To know Mike was to love his sense of humor and laughter. His laughter would light up a room.

In his final days, Mike received compassionate care through Hospice of Texarkana, where he was surrounded by his loved ones.
