Charles Rodney Maxey, a beloved resident of Ashdown, Arkansas, passed away peacefully on April 1, 2026. Born on December 3, 1950, in Glenwood, Arkansas, Charles lived a life marked by dedication to his craft and his community.
Charles was a skilled barber by profession, a trade through which he touched many lives with his friendly spirit and warm smile. An individual of practical knowledge, he held an associate degree, reflecting his commitment to personal growth.
He was preceded in death by his son of Kenneth Maxey. Charles was a widower at the time of his passing and is remembered fondly by all who knew him.
In his final days, Charles received compassionate care from Enhabit Hospice, surrounded by love and comfort.
The family has entrusted arrangements to Tri-State Cremation and Funeral Services.
