LaTonya Nikita Walker Cash

LaTonya Nikita Walker Cash, 58, passed away peacefully on July 7, 2026, at St. Michael Hospital in Texarkana, Texas. Born on September 8, 1967, in Los Angeles, California, she was the beloved daughter of Fredrick Douglas Walker Jr. and Guyline Theresa Wedmore.

LaTonya was a devoted mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend. A free spirit, little Ms. yuniki, always danced to the beat of her own drum. Her greatest attribute was her strength, and ability to endure lifes obstacles while finding a way to help others through theirs. Though her absence will be continuously felt, her legacy will remain in our hearts for eternity. Blasting music, life of the party, bracelet on each wrist, and ankle, she had one of a kind style here on earth and now she will have it in heaven.

She is survived by her loving children, La'Nika Graham, Te'Yana Pugh, De'Vonce Hayes, and Kyra Cash; her mother, Guyline Theresa Wedmore; her grandchildren, Isaiah Graham, Ariyana Graham, Carter Pugh, and Milanna Pugh; her siblings, Yolanda Spencer, Denise Martinez, Daniel Martinez, and Ernest Martinez; her nieces, Shannon Marie, Melissa Spencer, Ciera Hayes, and Shemaya Martinez; and her nephews, Bryan Spencer, Shawn Spencer, Daniel Martinez, Brian Martinez, Ignacio Martinez, and Shamar Martinez.

She was preceded in death by her beloved daughter, Mariah Pugh, and her father, Fredrick Douglas Walker Jr.

LaTonya received compassionate care from Enhabit Hospice during her final days. She was surrounded by her loving mother and daughters, who held her hand through her final moments, allowing her to leave this world peacefully and with love.

Her memory will forever remain in the hearts of her family and friends.
