Trudy Yvonne Hawthorne, beloved wife and mother, passed away peacefully on February 1, 2026, in Texarkana, Arkansas, at the age of 70. She was born on December 12, 1955, in Midwest City, Oklahoma.
On December 8, 1979, Trudy married her devoted husband and forever best friend, Danny Hawthorne, and together they shared many years of love and life. She completed some college coursework and was employed as an office clerk for state government before later retiring due to disability.
Trudy was a woman of Christian faith who loved the Lord and found strength, peace, and comfort in her relationship with Christ. Trudy first became a Christian as a young lady, then went on to serve the Lord with purity of heart and devotion for the rest of her life, and now she has her reward. Her faith guided her throughout her life and was reflected in her kindness, patience, and gentle spirit.
She is survived by her loving husband, Danny, and her daughter, Shayla.
A six-year resident of Texarkana, Arkansas, Trudy spent her final days under the compassionate care of Enhabit Hospice. She will be remembered for her warm presence, quiet faith, and the love she shared with those around her.
Arrangements are entrusted to Tri-State Cremation and Funeral Services.
A small private service will be held at a later date.
