Ginger Smith

Ginger Lucretia Smith, aged 82, passed away peacefully on January 9, 2026. Born on June 8, 1943, in Eagletown, Oklahoma, she was the beloved daughter of the late Oscar Vernon Benson and Audrey Belle (Humphries) Benson.

Mrs. Smith was a graduate of Eagletown High School and lived a full life marked by devotion to her family and community. She was a retired resident who valued her time with loved ones and cherished memories made over the years.

She was preceded in death by her siblings Earl Wayne Benson, Patsy Oliver, Jesse Benson, and her son Erik Liles. Ginger is survived by her mother, Audrey Belle Benson; her children Stacy Staggs, Tony Liles, and Keith Liles; and her sister Sammie Bowen.


The family entrusted Tri-State Cremation and Funeral Services with arrangements.

Ginger Lucretia Smith will be fondly remembered by all who knew her for her loving spirit and enduring strength. She leaves behind a legacy of love and kindness that will forever remain in the hearts of her family and friends.
