Joseph Pickering

Joseph Daniel Pickering, age 65, of Horatio, Arkansas, passed away peacefully on December 26, 2025, at his home under the care of Gentiva Hospice. Born on January 13, 1960, in Texarkana, Arkansas, Joseph was a lifelong resident of the state and graduated from Fouke High School. He was a devoted cattleman by profession, dedicating many years to his work and the land he cherished.

Joseph was united in marriage to Susan Barker on February 22, 2014, in Little River, Arkansas. Their partnership was a source of great joy and strength throughout his life. He was the beloved son of Lois E. Pickering and Louise Helms. Joseph is survived by his loving wife, Susan; his sons Andrew and Adam; and his brothers Roy Pickering and Steven Pickering.

Known for his steadfast character and gentle spirit, Joseph touched the lives of those who knew him with kindness and dedication. He will be remembered fondly by family and friends alike for his unwavering love and his commitment to his family and community.

Tri-State Cremation and Funeral Services is entrusted with arrangements. Joseph’s memory will be cherished by all who loved him, and his legacy will endure through his family and the many lives he impacted.
