Obituary

Debra Lynn Martin, beloved daughter, sister, aunt, and friend, passed away on December 24, 2025, leaving behind a family who loved her deeply and will cherish her memory always.

Debra was born on March 2, 1958, to Ernest Lee Irvan and Mildred Willis Irvan, and from day one she did things her own way. She loved her family fiercely, spoke her mind freely, and had more spark than most folks could handle. To her nieces and nephews, she was more than an aunt—she was a second mother, always watching out, stepping in, and loving them as her own. Debra was generous, loyal, and big-hearted—but make no mistake, she could be mean as a rattlesnake if the situation required it. If you were in her corner, you were protected for life. Her personality was unforgettable, and her absence leaves a silence that can never be filled.

Debra was preceded in death by her parents, Ernest Lee Irvan and Mildred Willis Irvan; her brother, Johnny Irvan.

She is survived by her brother, Ernest Lee Irvan, Jr., and sister, Linda Patrick, both of Horatio, Arkansas. She is also survived by her nephews: Joey Patrick and his children; Dr. Jeremy Irvan, his wife Nikki, and their children; Josh Patrick and his children; Sambo Patrick, his wife Alysia, and their children; Johnny Gibbs and his wife Misty; Reggie Irvan and his children; and by her niece, Robin Adcock, her husband Michael, and their children; Niece, Stephanie Davis, & kids.  She is lovingly remembered by her niece, Savannah Beck, her husband Adam Beck, and their children, along with many extended family members and friends who were blessed to know her.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, January 18th, at 2:00 p.m. at Clear Creek Cemetery. A lunch will follow at the residence of Linda Patrick and Ernest Lee Irvan, Jr. 1385 Hwy 41 Horatio, AR.

Flowers or food may be sent or dropped off at the residence of Linda Patrick and Ernest Lee Irvan, Jr.

Debra’s life was a gift to all who knew her, and her memory will live on in the hearts of her family forever.

It’s hard to lose someone you have been with your entire life. She was my sister and I loved her so much! Some days we didn’t see eye to eye on things but we always worked it out! Debbie lived with me for the past 4 years due to dementia. I’m glad I had the opportunity to care for her and spend time with her. I will miss her everyday but she’s in a better place now and I’ll see her again someday.
