Michael Crocker
October 01, 1979 - December 23, 2025
Obituary
Michael Douglas Crocker, formerly of Pampa, passed into the arms of Jesus at the burn center in Little Rock, Arkansas, at 2:50 a.m. on December 23, 2025.
He was born in Pampa to Mary Elizabeth (Pat) Crocker and Bobby Crocker on October 1, 1979, at Highland General Hospital. He attended Pampa Public Schools and graduated in 1999. He went to First Baptist Church and loved riding the bus. He was baptized on October 25, 1987.
Michael led a tumultuous life after high school. He became a drug addict and an alcoholic, causing him to often darken the jailhouse door. Michael tried finding his way back to Jesus often, only to fall back into his rebellious ways. He managed to find his way into prison and fortunately came out into a program in Marshall, Texas, called “Brother’s Keeper.” He did well in this Jesus-centered program. But as always, temptation of alcohol pulled him back into a world of drugs. The last time was just that—the last time. He is no longer suffering.
Michael was preceded in death by Granddad Miller and too many others to name.
Survivors include his mother, Mary (Crocker) Scott; stepdad, “Mr.” Rick Scott; stepsister, Abbie Scott; and Smalls the dog. There are also many other aunts, uncles, and cousins.
There will be a memorial service Tuesday, December 30, at 2:00 p.m. at Frost Street Refuge, located at 600 N. Frost. Pampa TX.
