Andrea Allison

Andrea Lynn Allison, 42, of Hooks, Texas, passed away on November 18, 2025. She was born on September 17, 1983, in Texarkana, Texas, to Robert Allison and Kita Holt Loyd.

Andrea grew up in Redwater and graduated from Redwater High School, where she made the honor roll and discovered her love for reading and writing. She especially enjoyed the works of Edgar Allan Poe, and over the years she even published a couple of short stories of her own. Creative and lighthearted, Andrea had a gentle way of finding humor in everyday life.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Robert Allison and Kita Holt Loyd.
Andrea is forever treasured by her brother and sister-in-law, Mathew and Haley Allison. Her love continues on through her nieces Alaina Gunter and Serenity Allison, her aunts and uncles Phyllis and Ed Allison, Preston and Sharron Holt, Nancy and David Hart, many cousins, as well as step mom Janet Allison, and step dad Alan Loyd. She was preceded in death by additional loved ones who will be honored privately by the family.

Andrea’s family is still deciding on service arrangements, and no visitation or pallbearers have been selected at this time. Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of your choice.

Her life was simple, heartfelt, and uniquely hers, and she will be missed by all who loved her.
