Obituary

Roxie Ann Mack, age 65, of Atlanta, Texas, passed away on November 14, 2025. She was born on July 25, 1960, in Atlanta, Texas.

Roxie was the daughter of Charles Mack and Hosie Butler, who preceded her in death. She was a devoted mother to Billy Mack and a proud grandmother to Adrian Mack, Billie Mack, and Kai’Lynn Turnage.

She is survived by her siblings Karen Blackwell, Lee Mack, Kathy Smith, and Bryan Smith, and was preceded in death by her brother and sister Rose and Charlie Mack. Roxie also cherished the close friendship of Margaret Groce, a true and dear friend, and Nell James, also a dear friend. She is remembered with love by numerous extended family members and friends.

Roxie attended Atlanta High School and later earned her degree in Criminal Justice from the University of Phoenix, an accomplishment she was very proud of. She worked with Lonestar Ammunition and was known for her steady dedication and strong work ethic. In her free time, Roxie loved watching the Dallas Cowboys, a passion her family fondly remembers.

A memorial service will be held on November 29, 2025, at 12:00 PM at Whitaker St. Temple of Truth in Texarkana, Texas, with Richard Blackwell officiating.

Attendees are invited to honor Roxie by wearing blue, white, silver, or Dallas Cowboys attire, reflecting her lifelong love for the team.

Roxie will be remembered for her kindness, her quiet strength, and the deep love she had for her family.

Arrangements are entrusted to Tri-State Cremation and Funeral Services.
