Marilyn Joyce House Morris, age 77, a resident of Gillham, Arkansas, passed from this life, Thursday, October 30, 2025.

She was born to Kenneth Ross (KR) House and Magel Dean House on March 10, 1948, in DeQueen, Arkansas.

Marilyn had a gift for gardening; her beautiful plants and flowers reflected the care and patience she extends to everyone in her life. She also loved genealogy, hunting, and tending to her farm.

Her family takes comfort in knowing she is at peace, her life is a testimony to life well lived. She leaves behind cherished family, dear friends, and countless memories that will continue to inspire and comfort those who were blessed to know her.

Marilyn was proceeded in death by her parents KR and Magel House, husband James Carl Morris, brother Jimmy House, and sister Dorothy White

Marilyn leaves to cherish her memory, son and daughter-in-law, Joshua Ross and Twyla Morris; granddaughter Tabitha Jalena Morris; sisters and brothers-in-law, Peggy and Ben Bramlett, Kathy and JD Price; brother and sister-in-law, Jerry and Pam House, as well as a number of nieces and nephews, other family members and a host of friends.

Memorial service details will be announced at a later date.
