Ronald Willis

Ronald Jay Willis, age 61, was born on February 25, 1964 in France and passed peacefully at home on October 26, 2025. He was a Bowie County native and preceded in death by his parents, Frank Edward Willis  and Mary Louise Satterfield Willis, his twin brother Donald Ray Willis and Hardy Ray Daniel. Mr. Willis was employed by Caraustar and Bowie County Precinct 3 for many years. He enjoyed hunting, riding horses and spending time with his family. Mr. Willis was a member of Myrtle Springs Baptist Church. He had three children from his first marriage to Stephanie Bennett Willis: Ashley Willis, Jacob Willis (Tristin), and Hannah Willis Engledowl. Seven grandchildren: Jayla Willis, Destiny Conkleton, Paytin Willis, Ian Willis, Judson Willis, Zaine Engledowl and Amelia Engledowl. Four sisters: Darla Allen(Jeff), Delorise Willis, Dawn Thompson(Eddie), Shana Figueroa. He had many special nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. There will be a Celebration of Life Service on November 8, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at Myrtle Springs Baptist Church with Pastor, Dr. Kyle Peters, officiating. In lieu of flowers there has been a Go Fund me account set up to help with funeral costs.
