Donna Jenkins

Donna Rae Jenkins, aged 66, of Texarkana, TX, passed away on March 7, 2024, surrounded by her loved ones. She is survived by her loving partner of 30 years, Renee Smith, of Texarkana, TX.

Donna is preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, and many other cherished relatives. She leaves behind her greatest achievements: her daughter and son-in-law, Melissa and Clint Robinson, of Texarkana, TX; her son and daughter-in-law, Shane and Jewel Jerkins, of Apex, NC; and her stepdaughter and son-in-law, Taylor and Josh Sepulveda, of Texarkana, TX.

The most significant part of her heart that she leaves behind belongs to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren: Alisa and Christian Sandoval, Kayne and Randa Robinson, of Texarkana, TX; Ario Jerkins, of Apex, NC; and Sadie Jerkins, of Apex, NC. Additionally, she eagerly anticipated the arrival of Baby Sepulveda this fall and her great-grandbabies Elijah and the future baby Sandoval, who is expected to be born in May, all of Texarkana, TX, and Samara Robinson, of Texarkana, TX.

Known by many different names—Mom, Wife, Nana, Aunt D—Donna was cherished by her only nephew, Jeremy Nugent, of Clarksville, TN. She was also a beloved nanny to her goddaughter, Wendy Gail Lodrigue, of Patterson, LA.

Though life will never be the same without her, those who knew Donna understand that she wouldn't want them to be sad. She would want them to live life to the fullest, love with all their hearts, laugh because it makes life better, dance like no one is watching, sing like no one is listening, and remember that they only have this one life. "For with God nothing shall be impossible" (Luke 1:37).
