Susan Armstrong

In loving memory of Susan Armstrong of Texarkana, Texas who went to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, September 26, 2025, at the age of 72.

Susie was born November 13, 1952 in Santa Barbara, CA to Robert and Mary Ruth Leeper Buck. They moved to Michigan when Susie was young, eventually settling in Dearborn.

Susie married the love of her life, Esten Lewel (Jack) Armstrong, Jr. in Texarkana. They were a match made in Heaven.

Susie was a hair stylist so she touched the lives of many co-workers and customers with her talent, kindness and wonderful sense of humor. Because of her caring and nurturing nature, her true passion was caring for all of God’s creatures including dogs, cats, birds and every stray that was fortunate to find her loving open home.

Susie was a strong and determined individual but her real strength was her faith in God. Her unwavering faith was a beautiful example and comfort for her friends and family during all the joys as well as challenges of life. And it was her faith and love for Jesus that guided her as she faced adversity with great courage and strength, inspiring those around her to persevere in life’s trials.

Her family is especially thankful for the caring team at Enhabit Hospice who loved her and cared for her like she was family.

Susie will be forever loved and remembered in the hearts of her family, very special cousins, Jack’s family and her friends.
