Kelly Leann Smith, aged 64, hailing from Texarkana, TX, peacefully departed on Saturday, March 2nd, 2024.

Born on July 18, 1959, in McKinney, TX, to Tommy Jo McFarland and Jean Stephens,

Kelly was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Tommy Jo McFarland Jr.

She leaves behind her sisters, Perri Dawson of Texarkana, TX, Shannon Jones of Turner Falls, MA, Jennifer Dawson Bingham of Dover, NH, two sons, Jared (Heather) Horvatin of Texarkana, AR, Michael (Bethany) Horvatin of Fouke, AR, three daughters, Hannah (Daylan) Horvatin of Texarkana, TX, Tristan Horvatin of McKinney, TX, and Priscilla McFarland of McKinney, TX, as well as a multitude of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

A private celebration of life will be held by the family on Friday, March 8th, 2024, at Bobby Ferguson Park in Texarkana, AR.

Kelly I miss you being on this earth. Just as your daughter Tristan said “you deserved so much more in this life”. I’m so sorry I couldn’t get up there to you more. That was mine and Perri’s plan for me and David to retire to Genoa Arkansas at Perry’s house and I was going to come see you all the time. I’m so sorry it didn’t happen in time. You know your cousin Sonia loved you so much. We will meet again cousin in God’s beautiful Heaven. I know you’re there now with so many relatives that did love you so much. God has opened His kingdom to you. I love you Kell’s. Fly high.
