Paula Fant

Paula was born on December 29, 1954 in Texarkana, Texas to Otto and Norma Bergt. Her little sister Beebe joined them a couple of years later.

Outgoing and fun, Paula became everyone’s friend in high school. She sang in the choir and cheered for the Leopards.

After high school she married Mike Stuart (Crunch) and had one daughter, Toni. While that marriage ended in 1981, Paula and Mike remained friends. She worked in various fashions within the medical field while also volunteering in the children’s department and singing in the choir at her church. She loved books, movies, and music.

Paula found happiness with Terry Fant in 1985. Together, they built a life filled with love, laughter, and mutual support sharing 38 years together. Terry preceded her in death, passing away in 2023.

Paula passed away peacefully on September 10, 2025. She is survived by her sister, Beebe Lachowsky, daughter, Toni Norton, (Kelly) and granddaughters Brooke and Jenna Norton.
