Obituary
Jimmy Fred Primm, 76, of Texarkana, Arkansas died suddenly on February 26, 2024.
Jimmy was born September 22, 1947 in ElDorado, Arkansas and graduated from Arkansas High School, and received a degree in business from Columbia College.
He was retired from the United States Marine Corps in 1997 as Sergeant Major. He spent a good portion of his career with the Marine Corps Reserve Unit, Texarkana, Texas as a recruiter. He ended his career as the 1st Marine Corps District Sergeant Major in Garden City, New York.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents, and parents Colleen Bates Rogers and Robert Lavelle Primm.
He is survived by his daughter Marcie Kay Fisher and son Monte Wayne Primm both of Texarkana,Texas, brother Donnie Primm and wife Pam of Mablevale, Arkansas, sister Judy McClellen and husband Mark of St. Marys, Georgia, granddaughter Kolleen Faith Primm of Texarkana, Texas, grandson Joshua Andrew Fisher of Des Moines, Iowa and great granddaughter Iris Jade Primm and a number of nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held on March 22nd at 11:30 at Northwest Louisiana Veterans Cemetery, 7970 Mike Clark Rd., Keithville, LA 71047.
