Sheila Annette Halbert, 62, departed this life on October 15, 2024.

She was born on September 30, 1962, to Ava and JT Jackson, who proceeded her in death.

She is survived by her devoted husband, Bryan Halbert of Texarkana, her children, daughter, Tasha Gardner (John) of Houston, son, Josh Lewis (Jenna) of El Dorado, stepsons, Hayden, Devin and Landon Halbert, grandchildren, Jacob Gardner (Jordan), William Gardner, Leyton Lewis, Weston Lewis, and Emerson Lewis. Brother, Mike Jackson (Debbie), Nephew Mike Jackson (Becky), Nieces Tara Sexton (Shane) and Sydney Strother (Tommy), great nephews, great nieces, and more family and friends.

Shortly after graduating Hatfield High School, she started a family and moved to El Dorado, where she was employed by National Bank of Commerce and El Dorado Foundry. Later, she relocated to Benton and was employed by McGeorge Contracting, and then relocated to Texarkana.

Sheila was a loving and cherished wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed spending time with family, playing card games, and trips to the beach. She was known for her beauty, kindness and sweet demeanor. That kindness touched everyone she encountered, leaving a lasting impact on her family and friends who will forever cherish her memory.

A private family memorial will be held at a later date in Mena, AR. Memorials may be made to Alzheimer's Association.
