Roy's legacy is one of honor and service, exemplified by his dedication to protecting his country as a distinguished member of the United States Navy. His unwavering commitment to duty and his fellow service members earned him the respect and admiration of many. Beyond his military service, Roy was a pillar of strength and wisdom for his family. His guidance and love were constants in their lives, providing unwavering support and encouragement to his loved ones. As a patriarch, he instilled values of integrity, resilience, and loyalty that will continue to inspire generations to come.
Left to cherish his memory are Teriney Davis, Corey Collins, Zina Davis Austin, Paige Davis, his grandchildren Latoya Austin, Kareyn Davis, Marcus Beal, Ducan Cherry, Kyrion Davis, sisters Sandra Chairs (Terry), Deloris Dembry, Earnestine Russell, Mac Jean Teat, one brother Johnny Ray Washington, and special cousin Virginia Benson, with a host of family, friends, and relatives.
Roy Davis leaves behind a profound void in the hearts of his beloved family, friends, and community. Though he may have departed this earthly realm, his memory will forever remain a source of comfort and solace to those who mourn his loss. May he rest in eternal peace, his spirit forever sailing on tranquil seas, guided by the stars he once looked upon with such unwavering determination and hope.

Services will be held May 16, 2025 at 2:oo PM at the Village Event Venue Chapelwood 997 N. Kings Hwy Texarkana, TX 75501. Arrangements are entrusted to Tri-State Cremation and Funeral Services.
