Mickey Lynn Hardy, 75, of Texarkana, TX, passed away on May 21, 2024.
Mickey was born on June 12, 1948, in Torrance, CA, to William “Bill” and Ruby (Doss) Hardy.
Mickey loved the Lord and her family. She loved to dance and sing. She loved nature and growing her own flowers with her very green thumb.
Mickey was a veteran and served in the United States Air Force for five years. In her early days, she was a carhop at A&W, a waitress at the old El Chico on Stateline, and a bartender. She worked for D & Z for many years and was a member of the Moose Lodge. In her 40s, she went back to school and became a nurse, caring for people for over 17 years.
Mickey was preceded in death by her mother and father, her sister Mary Cornett, and her brother William “Little Bill” Hardy.
Left to cherish her memory are her daughter and son-in-law Sandra and Ronald Madewell, her son and daughter-in-law Cody and Eryn Chischilly, her sister and brother-in-law Sue and Blake Esponge, and her grandchildren Chris Moses, Nick Moses, Katie Dorrough, David Wright, and Hannah Wright. She also had seven great-grandchildren: Lainey, Adyson, Kylie, Rose, Gabe, Riley, and Lilly, as well as many other close family and friends.
