Jerry Michael Turner

Jerry Michael Turner, a devoted husband, loving father, cherished brother. Left this world on October 17, 2023. He was born on April 7, 1965, to Sandra and John Turner. In his vibrant life, Jerry carved a path of service and valor. He proudly served in the esteemed 82 Airborne and Special Forces divisions of the United States Army, leaving an indelible mark of bravery and dedication. Following his military service, he continued his commitment to public service by joining the ranks of law enforcement, where he displayed unwavering courage and an unyielding commitment to justice. His impact extended far beyond his professional pursuits, as he held his family close to his heart. Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, Sandra and John Turner, and his cherished sister, Keisha Turner. He will forever be remembered by his loving wife, Cynthia Turner. His sons, Cody Turner, Tyler Turner, Chad Bacon, and Spenser Adams, along with his daughters, Jessie Jones and Amanda Sullivan, and sister, Treva Braley. His legacy will live on through his ten grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. A memorial service to honor Jerry’s life and legacy will be held at 12:00 PM on Saturday, October 21, at the Rock Creek Baptist Church in Maud, Texas.
