Dorleen Chenell Traylor, born on March 3rd, 1964, in Texarkana, Texas, to the late Rozell Lee Traylor Sr. and Naomi Lee Traylor, peacefully entered eternal rest on April 8th, 2024. She was a beloved mother, sister, aunt, and friend whose memory will forever be cherished.

Dorleen was preceded in death by her parents, her sister Shelia Harris, and her nephew Russell A Traylor. She is survived by her son, Jamel Traylor of Tupelo, MS, and a large and loving family including brothers Russell, Robert, Rev. Rozell Jr.(Letitia), Phillip Nelson, Kenyon, and Rolandis Chapmon, and sisters Monica, Patricia, Sandra, and Mechelle. She also leaves behind her uncle Bobby Jones, aunts Neva S Carey, Mittie Matthews, Dorothy Smith, and Melba Richardson, and a special cousin, Shaundrea Howell, along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends whose lives she touched deeply.

Dorleen dedicated many years of her life to her calling as a Certified Nursing Assistant, where she provided care and comfort to those in need with grace and dignity. Her selfless dedication to her profession earned her admiration and gratitude from all who knew her.

Dorleen's kindness and devotion extended beyond her profession, as she was actively involved in her community and passionate about dance and music. She graduated from Pine Street Junior High and Texas Senior High School with the Class of 1982, showcasing her vocal talents in church and community performances. Her contributions to UIL soprano sections for Texas High and participation in local, regional, and state ensembles highlighted her love for music and her commitment to excellence.

The Traylor Family extends their heartfelt thanks to God, Hospice of Texarkana, Tri-State Crematory, Texarkana Recreation Center, friends, family, and guests for their contributions, love, respect, and support during this difficult time. Dorleen's legacy of kindness and generosity will continue to inspire and uplift those who were fortunate enough to know her.
