Billie Mccready

Billie McCready, affectionately known by all as “YahYah,” passed away Tuesday, April 4, 2023, at the age of 81. Billie was born on February 5, 1942 in Monroe, LA. Billie graduated from Ouachita Parish High School and later worked with Howard Brother stores. She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth. She is survived by her great grandson, Maddox. Billie never met a stranger and she dedicated much of her life assisting our veterans in many various ways. Billie served churches in multiple cities by volunteering to help with their Celebrate Recovery program. Billie’s pride and joy was her great grandson, Maddox, and she was sure to tell everyone that she met about Maddox. A memorial service will be held at First Baptist, Texarkana in the atrium on Monday, April 10th at 3pm.
