Amy Marie Edwards, 44, of Texarkana, Arkansas, passed away on Sunday, September 1, 2024, in a local hospital in Texarkana, Texas. Amy was born on December 1, 1979, in Wadley, Texarkana, Texas. She touched the lives of many and was deeply loved by those close to her. Her husband, Shaun Edwards, originally from Okinawa, Japan, described her as his angel, a beacon of hope and strength who brought love and light to his life.

Amy and Shaun shared a rare and special bond for over 15 years, supporting each other through every trial and triumph. Together, they navigated life's challenges, always putting each other's happiness and well-being first. Shaun remembers Amy's unyielding love, especially during times of difficulty, and how she saved his life in more ways than one. He remains grateful for the joy and companionship they shared, cherishing their memories together.

Throughout their time together, Amy and Shaun leaned on one another, never letting go, even through the toughest moments. Shaun recalls the times they spent together caring for each other, sharing laughs, and building a life of mutual respect and love.

In addition to her husband, Amy is survived by her brother, James Arnett and his wife Heather; aunts and uncles, Kay and Bill Sadler of Little Rock, AR, and Brenda and Mike Fowler of Subiaco, AR; and numerous cousins including Justin and Cara Fowler, Jonathan Fowler and Scarlett Emma, Sydney and Robert Clem, Isabelle Fowler, and Gabrielle Fowler, Adrian Landis and Shelia Landis Fouke AR. Jennifer Stone of Fouke AR, all of Texarkana, and many other beloved family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by her unborn daughter, her Mother Peggy, brother Paul, sister Christina.

Amy will be remembered for her generous heart, her kind spirit, and the deep love she shared with those around her. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
